US out of the “Middle East”: Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran…


The quotes are because the "Middle East" is an abstract concept that may or may not include anything east of Iraq in some opinions. The ellipsis [...] is because the U.S. is definitely interested in the entire geographic region, and not just these three countries.
